Error: Infinite "I can't talk with you" loop
When successfully sieging a city that has a rebel notable imprisoned within it, such as a the united rebels leader or the asari rebels leader, players will become stuck in an inescapable dialogue loop of "I can't speak with you" from the now freed rebel leader.

I currently have this issue with a city that has 2 leaders imprisoned, unsure if that is also a prerequisite to creating the bug.

correction: the city in my game had nearly all the rebel leaders. XD
A work around is to simply wait for them to escape

for now, just reload your save and wait for the leaders to leave the prison before seiging. You can usually determine if there are prisoners by sneaking in somehow and checking for yourself. The bug probably still exists since the mods' not been updated yet.

Crap, It just happened to me with a Battanian Deserters Hero! :steamthumbsdown:

a possible workaround is to kill the hero via console Alt+ (key left of 1).while on that screen.

you need to enable cheat mode

config.cheat_mode 1

and use the command

campaign.kill_hero HERONAME

config.cheat_mode 0

Well, it's not a very immersive solution, but it's effective. I killed the rebel hero/character who was a prisoner in the city I besieged and conquered with the cheat and was able to continue playing my campaign.
