I did the apprentice jedi start, none of the jedi can be talked to including the master in his hut. I figured with the jedi start you just begin with the questline already triggered, but I'm not sure because I have Jaavi's crystal and still nothing, I can't talk to any of the jedi.

By luck she got beaten up by slavers so I was able to just loot her stuff before the slavers did, no problem. I even killed and maimed all the other dark adepts and crystal hunters in the cave and looted all the force crystals I could find, even one of the non-special crystals for good measure.

Now what? Was I supposed to find the shady merchant first? Where is he, I've been looking in bars all over the place and I can't find the guy.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I've tried importing twice to no avail.
