So funny story, I tried the slave start to see how it was compared to rebirth in vanilla kenshi. I have a mod that trains strength when mining instead of laboring so I was thinking to myself that I’d do the usual off training strength by day and lockpicking and sneak by night. And no kidding the first night I had in the game while I was focused on picking locks I suddenly saw damage numbers. So I thought to myself it was probably bandits or something. But then I remembered wait wait this isn’t normal kenshi, what kind of npc is raiding this place right now?

So I zoom out and would you believe it? The rebel alliance was here with elite troops absolutely slapping all the imperial/slave guards to the ground. I couldn’t break out to take advantage of it because my picking skills were too low on both characters since it was the first night. But guess what! One of the rebel elite troops stopped fighting to run in my building and broke both of my characters out. I took advantage of this and ran while picking up gear from fallen people. And just in time to before an imperial patrol or reinforcements arrived and put a stop to the break out. Only one elite troop made it out… truly a Star Wars and kenshi moment.
