Additionally, I see a shady merchant with the path of light book and a path of darkness book. I imagine purchasing one of those starts the questlines for jedi and sith?

The path of Light and Dark books are just meant to give you the location for the start of those questlines.

As far as the first quest for the jedi, Looting the crystal cave isn't the real goal (unfortunately). You have to defeat the mega sith there, take their crystal that's in their inventory, and have it on you when you when you converse with the master again. Ik the sith's lightsaber is red, but you should take that too as its stats are really good until you build your own. You'll be ranked up to Jedi instead of Apprentice (just gives +40 to relations with Jedi Factions). The master will no longer be the shop, instead directing you to Quartermaster Jay. There, you can purchase the schematics to make any type of lightsaber and multiple color variants of them at ranks I or II. Lastly, you can talk to the master again to start your next trial which will likely lead to higher tier lightsabers and jedi robes (as I haven't done it yet so idk what the reward is).

Sith Path quest seems to be the same as Jedi Path Quests - only done the first two quests though

It is to the left, West of the Jedi Conclave if you look at the map. The quest giver should have a map you can buy. I too was a little snooty and didn't wanna "waste" 1k cats, but after looting a few corpses and reaching 10k I decided it was time. The cave is a large, reddish structure appended to the world so it kinda sticks out, but you might not see it if you aren't looking for it. For a little more direction, it's West by Southwest of the Moon Cult village if you find that. It's a locations so it should pop up on your map. Is that specific enough? Otherwise I can take a screenshot of it

You should, given that they aren't hostile toward you. Unless there's a trigger that prevents it, though I haven't done it myself yet. Still grinding out a settlement to make high grade lightsabers

I started as Slaves, and after 40 days I found Jedi Hideaway turned into Ruined Jedi Hideout, import didnt help. Does anybody know if it is possible to repopulate the city or where to find Jazan Duni or the Quartermaster if the town doest exist? Thanks.

I initially entered the Fog Islands and encountered a cool character (who I don't wanna spoil and idk how to put a spoiler film over it lol). After a while they disappeared, and even importing doesn't bring them back. Pretty sure they died to the zombies, which is rather unfortunate. The only tutorials I saw were if there's an existing squad in the save file, you set their "death" state from true to false, but I think importing might remove them. Aside from that, I have no idea. Sorry I can't be more helpful :(

It's kinda cool how the world lives on without you and changes over time, but sad to see that you can't become a jedi can get the crafting schematics. Maybe you can loot it from their place instead?

If it's the ruined jedi outpost in The Outlands then just go up to that beachy looking part on the map directly above that and to the right (when looking at the map). The "living" jedi outpost is technically in Stormgap Coast but it's right above and to the right of that ruined one.

The Death Witch of the Death Witch Cult is the character. Stats were INSANE, like 110 nearly across the board. I'm strong enough that I think I can take them on (Or at least sick my droideka army on her haha) and get her gear. But since they're gone I can't get their cool cyan lightsaber :( . I'll try what you suggested tho! A shame I won't fight them, but at least I won't miss out on the gear.
