It's actually very strange, because I thought the map was jacking up the textures due to my server optimization, but that turned out not to be the case.
Plus, the author hasn't updated the texture packs, which raises even more questions about why???
By the way, gm_bora is having the same issue (jelly instead of water).
We need to ask the author.
yeah. Im not sure how to contact them, Im also not sure if they are accepting requests, and they even said it themselves in the workshop description that they have moved on from doing tropical stuff, which is a shame cause this is in my opinion the best tropical themed map in the workshop, since its so amazingly done.
heres what my ocean water looked like before it broke.

I tried the same thing and it didn't work for me. What addons were you using?
I have tons of addons installed, but as far as I know no specfic ones that should influence the water transparancy.
What a shame. Your maps are really amazing, very detailed and well done too
Tho I've been having issues since before last update which put in newer source engine water into the game.
Thank you, I've updated them... Water is rendered now... At a cost unfortunately, the cost of low FPS.
yeah but Im not happy at all... I've made those custom VMT materials to get the perfect balance of visuals and a convicing cubemap reflection but now they changed it...
