XCOM 2 and WOTC no longer uses 2K launcher, no idea how to make LWOTC compatible
I wanted to do a playthrough of this mod as i already finished XCOM 2 and LW2, and now it says upon launching that LW2 no longer works on War of the Chosen but only on XCOM 2 only. Any idea on how to made it work? Do i need to dongrade my game or anything?

Long War 2 does indeed only work on XCOM 2 without the expansion. That is the whole reason why the Long War of the Chosen mod exists, since it's a port of LW2 for the WotC expansion. And LWotC has no dependency to LW2, so no reason to try to use both.

And yeah, usually it's better to use AML (Alternate Mod Launcher) instead of the regular mod launcher.
