1 You'll need to do the research related to the skull-jacked officer that appears AFTER capturing it. I believe its an autopsy. You'll then eventually need to hijack the codex in the mission that will spawn from that research.

2. The avatar project should be triggered automatically in game once you progress far enough (standard game is about the 20 day mark). You'll need to reach out to the resistance rebel areas on the map and build a radio transmission tower so you can start increasing your money and upgrade your stuff.

3. The Chosen will appear following the activation of the avatar project. I believe if i remember correctly, they first show up when you find your first rebel faction.

4. The viper King is a true blue random event and when it does appear I hope you're ready. If it escapes, you can try again. Long war may change this a bit but it should appear again with the same damage you inflicted on it. Treat it like a legendary Pokemon. Once you've found one of the 4 "beasts", it will then randomly appear at a whim and probably when least convenient. Each one possesses an awesome one of a kind item if you can grab their corpse and do an autopsy.

Thank you for your reply. I have had 1 and 2 pop for me. I have not meet the chosen in the game yet but there strongholds and little intercom talks have popped up. I have located the warlock and the sniper one but not the sword one. No in game battle appearances for any yet.

So after playing for substantial amount of time i have had no skirmisher progression, no meeting with them and no save mox missions. The assassin chosen has not appeared at all and even though i have kill one of the chosen they have never appeared in any mission.

Also i can not improve skirmisher relations in the resistance ring.

I have a similar issue, I have all 3 factions found but can only find two of the three Chosen. LWOTC starts the game with one faction already found even if you don't tick the box next to "start with (reaper/skirmisher/templar) ally" and that faction seems to not provide the mission "Hunt the Chosen I".

In my playthrough i had a reaper start and found the warlock and assasin. The avatar project has been going ages and i have multiple regions liberated but did not start the codex/shadow chamber questline yet.
