For whatever reason (typically an antivirus), your world was not saved. There isn't a possible fix that I could implement that would prevent this, unfortunately.

The "instant boot to the title screen" behavior sounds very similar to how multiplayer clients exit the world. Maybe a mod you're using is messing with the game's "net mode"?
