Recursion crafting was mistakenly left enabled by default in v0.6
Set the Recursion Depth config to 0, and then see if the crafting works again

Are your crafting stations in the Station Slots for the Crafting Interface's UI?

As for slots turning yellow, there's likely a bug in how the item rendering is handled

Then the Crafting Interface does not recognize them. They must be in the Station Slots for the Crafting Interface to be able to use them.

Fair enough. but why aren't they being recognized? iv'e got the storage set up by them. am i missing something?

The Crafting Interface does its crafting in a sort-of "sandbox". Meaning, it won't attempt to check its surroundings for any items or stations; only the items in storage and the stations in the Station Slots can be used.
The Storage Configuration Interface can modify the behaviour of the Crafting Itnerface, but by default it will not try to check if any crafting stations are nearby.

Okay cool! then the problem should be fixed easily. how do i add crafting stations to their slots? drag and drop doesn't work and i cant find anything in the config or keybindings to give me hints.

You should be able to just drag and drop items into the Station Slots. The Crafting Interface is part of a storage system with a Storage Heart in it, right?

yep, thanks again< apparently i wasn't clicking hard enough lol.im going to assume it just bugged on that load for some reason. everything is working fine now. makes the crafting so much more enjoyable.
