Hi, i placed the generator on some blocks of my base and there is a white cube wich i can speak. it ask again and again for a Basic Survey Probe but nothing happens and want to ask what i do maybe wrong?

the device pop up text says you must make a basic survey in a constructor and have that in your inventory then interact with the machine again. says it right there in the text other than that if you didnt start a new save ya gotta do some pda stuff in the trouble shooting thread Ravien mentioned
