🚫 All development is now being done on Reforged Eden 2.
🚫 Reforged Eden 1 is currently out of date, obsolete, and will no longer receive updates. It is missing the latest game updates and will just fall further behind. It may not work correctly.
🚫 I strongly recommend using Reforged Eden 2 instead as there have been significant fixes, improvements, and updates to the scenario that will not be backported to RE1. This workshop page is being left up for those still playing it.

Overview:
Reforged Eden is a complete game overhaul that combines Vermillion's Reforged Galaxy and ravien_ff's Project Eden scenarios.
Nearly every block, weapon, POI, planet, trader, and mission has been updated or replaced and a large amount of new content added. This greatly changes the game experience.

Reforged Eden increases the overall difficulty and slows down progression. It is intended for experienced players looking for a more difficult, long term PvE experience with a variety of ways to progress and new things to explore.

Blueprints created for Reforged Eden may not be compatible with the base game and blueprints for the base game may require extensive refit to work properly in Reforged Eden.
The scenario is still under active development so this information is subject to change. Please see the update notes for the latest information.

Getting started:
To start playing Reforged Eden, subscribe to the scenario and then go to new game > scenarios > select Reforged Eden. You can start the scenario in creative by clicking on "game mode".
If you want to play in freedom mode start a survival game and use console command cm freedom then restart the game.
Reforged Eden will only apply to save games started using the scenario and will not affect your other saves.
Contains no content from the Dark Faction DLC and you do not need it to play Reforged Eden.

⚠️ Reforged Eden 1 is no longer being supported.
It's recommended to play Reforged Eden 2 instead.
You will receive no support and there will be no updates or bug fixes for this scenario.

As for the mod on other game that does nothing and named Reading Comprehension... I have seen it before lol Its real.

For those who dont like some of the restrictions... Can learn a little on how to mod and you can edit those restrictions. I have not seen the mod structure here honestly... As I did mods for 7D2D and couple others not this. But should be same. So shouldnt be too hard to adjust some numbers like make of some thing or its power use/production.

So get RE2 and just sneak a few personal edits to your LOCAL copy. And shouldnt need be said but dont reupload with out Ravien permission!

If I change it to unlisted in the workshop it would just mean only people who have the link could access it. Existing subscribers could still play it, but it would not show up in searches or on the workshop unless someone shares the link.

I really do not want to just outright remove it as I know that some people do still play it and understand that it's at a "play at your own risk" type thing. I never want to take away something that others are enjoying.

@El, I would play RE1. I never plan on playing RE2. Tried it, didn't like it. If deletes RE1 so be it. RE1 and 2 are just grind simulators, dressed up as a game. There is nothing compelling about the story.

Thank you for the positive experience and the wonderful time with this scenario. The recent comments motivated me to ask you not to delete it because of a few inattentive new users.

I remember you previously considered locking the comments (before RE2's release), which seems like a good solution. I suggest leaving a final comment noting that the scenario's last working version is v1.12.3 and linking to the RE2 for its continued development.

I'm still interested in RE1 precisely because RE2's restrictions turn me off. This is why I avoid the server and stick to my own single-player world: no rushing, no competition, no comparing achievements. So, to find anti-griefing protection or banned setting changes in this context is to recreate the exact multiplayer server environment I'm so desperately trying to avoid.

my condolence ravien, stuff like this is why there's a mod that does nothing in the zomboid workshop titled "READING COMPREHENSION" just to add that as a requirement to mods XD

I have to, yet again, remind everyone that this scenario is:
1: OBSOLETE
2: WILL RECEIVE NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER.

Please stop making complaints about it, especially those directed at the game's developers.
I really do not want to hide it or remove it from the workshop but if it keeps causing complaints I may have to.
