CV Solar Panels
In both the standard game and Reforged Eden, it seems that solar panels can only be installed on bases. I'm having trouble figuring out how to mount them on CVs. Am I overlooking something? Initially, I thought there might be a new solar panel specifically for CVs, but I haven't been able to locate any. If anyone has insights or tips on this, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is a separate CV solar panel, in the CV tech tree.
Note that these are not real solar panels, they just give a flat reduction in your power consumption regardless of sunlight.

I'm running a private server of my own and have implemented the Reforged Eden mod. Could there be an additional step or component I need to incorporate to make the CV solar panels show up?

Correct. If your power consumption is 0 or negative it won't use fuel.

That's exactly the point - to make a ship being able to stay in idle mode, but shielded and guarded for as long as needed.
