So Steam downloads from the workshop to
c:\program files(86)\ steam\ steamapps\ workshop\ content\ 383120\ 2550354956
fairly certain these numbers are the same for everyone.
so i told you to copy the folder 383120. thats the empyrion folder, you needed to copy and rename the subfolder, 2550354956. thats the reforged eden folder. its the folder with the preview.png that shows the reforged eden loading screen if you open it, just to verify.
so copy and rename that to reforged eden, or whatever you like, and i suspect you will be golden. and just to keep everything in one place, thats
c:\programfiles(86)\ steam\ steamapps\ common\ empyrion\ content\ scenarios\
post if its still not working.
Just an FYI, everytime they update the reforged eden scenario, you will need to recopy it. And keep the name in the scenario folder the same.otherwise old saves won't work. (you'll want to delete the old contents first, then opy into it.)
also an FYI steam is really bad about updating the scenario, so you may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to force it to re download when they do an update.(you can verify build and version number by opening the player inventory, its at the top of the inventory window.)
Unsubscribe from the Reforged Eden scenario.
Then Verify the integrity of the game file in Steam.
to do this:
How to Verify Integrity of Game Files:
Restart your computer and launch Steam.
From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
After that re-subscribe to the Reforged Eden scenario.
From that point just start a new game (Select Single Player, then select "Scenario", then Reforged Eden) .. Now your game will start as single player using the Reforged Eden mod.
Good luck!
That won't allow them to play offline.
The previous reply above yours has the answer.
