Specific Ice "Excavator"
Is there a chance we can get a 'excavator' turret that is ice specific? 120 dmg on dense/rich ice with 1.5 km range, like asteroid excavators?

I have a ship on PRG that I have 451 Ice miners that is more effective and efficient to get ice than a same model ship with 166 asteroid excavators. These 166 excavs are about as effective as 332 ice harvs, but also use the fuel I am collecting ice for. Kinda like blowing on a sail to make your ship move - doesn’t work.

Something like the asteroid excavator but made for ice, would be amazing!

I believe that these already exist. "Auto Ice Mining Turrets". You can buy them at Colonist Shipyards or if you do the Mission: Expedition: The Forge... I understand you get the blueprints.

I'm not talking about the Automated Ice harvester that only does 20 damage a tick. I'm asking about getting an 'Automated Ice Excavator' that does 120 damage a tick, just specific for ice, like the asteroid excavator is for asteroids.

of course you can, you just have to insert it yourself, no big job, I have such a thing built in with me among many other things.

I could, yes, but I play mainly on servers. And I believe this would be a boon for all.
