Sometimes when loading a new playfield the AI becomes disabled. This can happen in the vanilla game as well.

Exiting the game and reloading will usually correct it. If you are on single player or the admin on your server, you can re-enable it with console commands while in game using either the debug menu (type dm into the console, the menu will can be accessed in the pause menu) or the AI toggle command. I dont remember the AI toggle command, but it is listed if you type "help" (no quotes) into the console.

Sometimes, the problem will correct itself if you exit the playfield and re-enter. Although it may take a few tries before it works.

Right, Just loaded the game up there and now it seems to be okay.All i needed to do was quit the game and load it up again if anyone has the same problem sometime. I'm getting shot by everything so now i must find a way to get my ship off the landing pad without losing it hahaha

It's a game bug. I know of at least one way to trigger it reliably and submitted a bug report on it.
