Well good for you OP if it was resolved. But in general, there is this issue when sensors stop working - hangar doors do not open, teleport does not switch on etc. It has been around for years. Though these days it is very rare.

When that happens, what I found is that quitting the game completely and starting back again fixes it.

Turns out, turning on the Signals in the Control Panel works wonders... We had been looking online for answers, going to forums, help pages... Got to the point where we thought the game was messed up. Re-logged twice... Then came here. We were shown our silly, silly ways. Heh. Dang it.
