How get enough Pentaxid (Midgame)?
Im a newer Reforged Eden Player, doing all the Survey-Quest, thats need a lot of Pentaxid. I dont have any Problem finding other Standard-Ressources like Cobalt, Neodymium even Zascosium and Erestrum. But i dont find any larger Pentaxid-Deposit.

I have CV-Laser-Drills and Autominers (but thats not the best Solution for Traveling all the time).

I still can buy Pentaxid, but im not the best in Money-Making yet in RE (still learning) and i will save some Money for the Forge-Quest.

Most of the time, i go to Moons and Planets and SV-mine some small and mostly very small Pentaxid-Sources, but thats feels very slow...

Make pentaxid seeds and grow its like other crops.

Most orbits also have several pentaxid asteroids that give about 100-150 each.

Yes, but thats the pain. Asteroid-Mining all other Standard-Ressources give ~4000 Ressources, only Pentaxid gives that little.

Because other resources are consumed in large quantities for ammunition and construction, while Pentaxid's use relative to production is lower, unless you plan on a lot of warping.
Supplying your ship and managing pentaxid is an aspect of the game. You aren't meant to find one asteroid and be set for life. If it was, that life would be awfully short before you run out of things to do and quit.

4000 pentaxid ore would be 8000 refined, which is enough to warp 4000 light years using an advanced warp drive. That's enough to go across the entire galaxy multiple times from a single asteroid.

There are ways to get a lot of pentaxid though but they aren't as easy as just finding one asteroid.

I do a lot of warping, i doing all the Survey-Quests.

I don't even use it much for Ammunition or Shield.

Then you suppose to make some stopes for refueling by digging some pentaxid asteroids.
Put drill turret on you CV and it will take not much time.

Edit the game files and reduce the warp pent usage to 0.2 so you're not spending half your game time mining pent.

Other solution is rich asteroid mining in Zirax space. You get tons of pent.

Money! I find it so much easier to salvage ships, pawn off the thrusters and other parts, and just buy pentaxid and ammo and all that.

Can you tell me where i can sell Stuff like this. I dont find that good traders yet. I only find traders they buy Parts, but not that much (like my 100.000 Steel Plates...). I make mostly Money from selling Matrix and Quests/Trader Quests.

I lootet some Alien-Containers, no Schematics there (most from "Abandoned xxx"), maybe im on the wrong POIs or just unlucky.
I know Derelict Ship in Vanilla, not sure i saw one in RE yet.

Mostly looking for Polaris Traders, maybe i miss this Scrapyards. Thanks for the help!

You can do the forge quest or go to any territory area and go into the rich asteroid belt. Kill the stations and ships there then put a salvage core on it and pick up the turrets.

You'll find inefficient turrets in Zirax space and better turrets in Drone space on an occasional space station.

If you're going to be serious about rich asteroid belts you're going to want the excavator turrets eventually and you do need to do the quest to get those.

I get most of my money from Colonist Main Trade Hubs. Sometimes the vendor that buys thrusters and warp drives isn't there though.
