i must say though, thats disappointing for a number of reasons
first, all those bugs are still there and i've just been lucky?. disappointing, though hardly surprising.
second the idea of having to fight to get off the world sounded interesting, rimworld esque, probably would have been dumb, and easily circumvented, but *seems* interesting.
third. any C.V. i can imagine that would be useful on that planet would need atleast enough firepower to take out two lowly drones. atleast all you would need was easily salvageable.
finally four. assuming multiplayer, so you can't just shut off base attacks, aren't there alot of other ways to avoid, negate these in the first place? really efforts like this, in my experience, tend to punish normal players where the *cheaters* will just find another means. slap in a salvage core and take it out every couple of days, heck they are cheap, use a real core, never get a base attack
really, a generator, ammo box and a handful of bullets at any of the numerous debris fields i keep finding on masperon are more than a match for what spawned to attack my ship, then slap that cannon turret on your CV and be done with it.
regardless, thank you for letting me know. I appreciate the response. Your engagement on these forums is comendable.
