I cannot fix this in the scenario as it is not an error with the scenario's configs.
If you've been making regular backups you might also consider restoring this file from backup to keep from losing stuff, if this is a playfield you have been building out in.
This file exists in my savegames, but ONLY in my savegames. From what I understand the Templates directory here has the layout for how a playfield should be laid out when it is generated. This is for playfields that are always the same (more or less) and do not use the Seed value and RNG. Things like the starter planets, and this if I'm not mistaken is the Zirax throneworld.
I dug through files the files on my server and like I said this only exists in my savegames. I was hoping to find the original in the RE or base files to tell you what to copy over, but I don't see an 'original.' THis must be generated off of the seed value with some instructions stored somewhere. In any event, the very best way to solve this is to restore the file out of a backup. If you've been creating backups with EAH (which you should) it'll be right in the backup file.
If you haven't been making backups, I'd suggest deleting as I said before. If you havent been going to the Zirax homeworld, I don't think it's going to cause problems for you even if you don't regenerate the file. But if you want to do anything there you probably want to get it. I would suggest starting a new save game *with the same seed value* and loading it up once. Drop out of the game and you should see this template file in the new savegame. Copy it over and reload your current save.
Hope this helps.
Typing this while talking with an in game battle buddy who also got booted from the server we run.
After the patch on a pre-existing server, couldn't warp. Tried 4 or 5 times, with server restarts, an update, file verification, backup, the hokey pokey dance... When I finally did warp (still not sure why I was suddenly able to), 75% of my ship made the jump. The hangar, warp drive, pentaxid tank and some other devices didn't make it. My small/hover vessels and my ability to warp stayed in the system I left. Put a warp core and pen tank back on, warped back and crashed out of the server. Get back in game, my ship is gone. Admin myself a new ship, warp back to where my ship should be, crashed the server. Long story short, we're in a holding pattern.
Note: Both of us are subscribed to RE through steam, and the server is external, so we have to upload RE rather than local hosting (gportal or something, they're pretty good, no problems so far until this). Server has 1.9 still, but subscription puts ours at 1.10. Haven't updated RE on the server yet (had to take a few hours away from this fiasco).
Especially with RE that is still a mishmash of 2 scenarios.
one of the reasons why I have RE atm hung on the nail
You must update your server (or get your host to do it).
You can't play RE 1.10 on empyrion 1.9 and you can't play RE 1.9 on Empyrion 1.10.
ravien_ff, just want to say that you and your crew have made a great mod to a good game. Pat everyone on the back - we're going to start over after 2 months and have another go at the galaxy.
