Mate and I have been trying to raid a drone base of the Zirax, sent it straight into the hanger and got into an elevator. However, the base shield protects EVERYTHING, meaning we cannot even destroy the base spawns that keep spamming units. By the time you can knock the shield off of one of these boys there is next to no reason to really explore or raid it by that point.

Not sure if there is a special weapon or EMP device we can use either. Just frustrating that the shield can also recharge making it even more of a reason to NEVER try to explore these cool designs.
