ship will attack station by default
when i enact this behavior over a M ship, the attack station by default is off.
but i noticed the ship did attack a building station.

when i toggle the "attack station" on then off, then it ignore that station.

That could be a disconnect between when the menu is showing and what it's actually set to, if you toggle the option on then off when first issuing the order that might fix it, if it's happening repeatedly with the same ships then it might be a mod issue.

I also have this issue. Did not give order to attack stations to any fleet but lost one patrol fleet because they attacked Khaak station.

same here. Set all my patrols to not attack any stations, but they ALL attack it anyway

Same problem... my M class anti-Kha'ak patrols try to take on Kha'ak installations on their own. :(

Update: Could be the problem that the Kha'ak installation is an outpost not a hive... perhaps outposts are not considered stations by X4.

I am having a similar issue. Can it be caused by the fact that there are targets next to the Kha'ak installation and they go attack that but the station kills the patrols?
