Grinder, welder, and drill radius would be nice thing to be able to change. I currently use Grinders+, Welders+, and Drills+ mods but they extend the radius a bit larger than feels right. Would be nice to set it myself. Thanks for the awesome mod!

This might be a per-tool basis, the mod would require modifying individual items, most of this mod changes global variables.

Someone might want to check, fairly certain these speed settings are hard-coded from Keen's side.

This one is per Gun, meaning this would be easier if you just make your own gun mod.

If possible, create a tab called "CLANG" to define maximum force parameters on Rotors, pistons, hinges. And also disable inertia sharing.
This prevents intentional or unintentional misconfigurations, protecting servers from slowing down or even going down.
There is already a mod doing this, but only on the pistons.

Ok cool. It's all good. I actually figured out how to change them in the config files that come with the mods I mentioned.

is there an inverted option available? Default Piston setting starts without sharing inertia tensor, I want enabled default on.

Full (vanilla) weapon configuration is something I considered. But that would be a lot of work and personally I prefer to use WeaponCore with a custom configuration and a private set of weapons. Let's see, how Keen continues developing the whole combat & NPC aspect of this game. For now, MES + WeaponCore is the way to go in this regard.

Yeah, that is something I have already on my list to implement.

Yeah, I can see your point. Rotors, Pistons and Hinges are way to powerful and use too little energy, compared to what they can "mechanically" do in the game. Limiting the force might result in more interesting and realistic designs. I put that on the backlog for now.

Not planned. This is something, you can already change in the game settings, when starting a new game. Keep in mind, that this option is not available for existing savegames for a reason. If you are really unhappy with the asteroid density, you have chosen in the beginning, you can still edit your sandbox.sbc file. I would recommend deleting all asteroid files as well to avoid problems. I highly recommend to make a backup of the savegame first.

Garbage Collection can also re-generate existing asteroids if you enable Voxel Cleanup and include Asteroids & Meteors, saving a ton of work on your part, just remember to re-launch the world after the Voxel Janitor runs the first few times, to re-enable collision on those Voxels.

That would be Thrust Output, and this would require changing all thrusters everywhere, or at least exposing their numeric values; another problem: everything gets measured using Newtons.

This is a "per thruster" setting, the default differential has 25% extra stopping power than manual to help fly in atmosphere, though modded thrusters can change these 2 unconnected numbers; Armored Tierd Thrusters Mod uses stronger Manual Thrust over weaker Automatic (stopping) Thrust to enable movement after realizing you mined too much ore, in just one example. A Universal setting isn't exactly easy to construct and would be a really challenging thing to construct because of the way everything was built, plus you'd likely ruin your tiered thruster tech that way.

Is it possible to add ability of players/fraction restriction for each ore's type?
For example: Player(or Fraction) A - can't mine Uranium
Player(or Fraction) B - can't mine Iron.

(Online gameplay will be more intresting with this ability. If you need blocked ore you must go to the market and buy it, or you must take it by force)
