Secondly, is it possible to make a freightplatform that is as loow as the top of the sleepers? This to make it look like a more realistic freight terminal :) (with the option to change textures like asphalt or concrete)
You can lower and raise freight platforms today, but not as low as the sleepers. We'll see.
1. have a roof at platform extensions:

For above, there is now a 0 m platform, only for cargo (technical reasons).

It just defaults to the middle of the station platform by vanilla means. Unused potential.

Other than that, I am not really interested in customizing where trains stop.
