Rowing does not use durability.
I was playing with the mod, and when rowing, it did not use durability on the oar.
It's a cave-less server and I was using the Caravel Boat.

Strange, I can't reproduce the problem. Maybe it comes from another mod you use?

I do use the client-side auto-rowing mod, maybe that's the issue?

I tested the auto-rowing mod alone: the durability of oar doesn't decrease. I reported it on the auto-rowing mod page. We just have to wait for an answer from the author.

Considering that is a client-side mod, it might be a Vanilla issue.
