Planet ownership bug?
Soooo I went back to my game, finishing missions etc etc. I already have a planet under my control. I have onderon. I made ground defenses. I have a strong military, defenses and made battle stations to defend it with my fleet gone. But as I was going through the map onderon was suddenly under control of the trade federation. Everything I built there was gone.

All my troops, all my buildings and all my space stations, gone. Red to white, controlled by the ai out of nowhere. They suddenly got structures and units there. I got no refunds, my units werent sent to another planet. All gone.

That seems like a revolt.
You need to keep your influence on a planet at 4 or above.

Look like you need to build the positive influence building with the heart which gives you +2 influence. Once it like six, you can sell it unless you have the tax income building which has -2 negative influence. Your government building only gives you +1, so eventually the planet will revolt. There are plenty of special buildings on many planets that give you +1, paired with your government building will negate the tax building penalty, with a bonus discount for various units.

The other thing I can think of is did you get a quest to build 2 labor camps and forgot to sell them afterwards? Labor camps also have -2 influence.

ooooooooh. I forgot revolt was a feature. I should of seen this coming when I built two tax buildings there lol. I completely forgot about that mechanic XD XD. I wanted to control Onderon with an iron fist (dont ask me why) so I made it into a slave planet, making a labor camp and two tax buildings.

I forgot that revolting was a thing. I wanted to rule Onderon with an iron fist (dont ask why) so I made a labor camp and two tax buildings then turret and shield defences to protect it. I was so focused on ruling over this one planet I forgot the people can revolt against me.
