The first one should take 20 cycles, then IIRC its much quicker.

Planetary influence should affect the command tier of the officers you get and how quickly you get them, if memory serves.

im probably a little slow but how to the tactical droid factories work i read it and it said to wait and that it also depends on planet influence which i have maxed out however i have waited around 18 weeks, no tactical droid. Have i done something wrong?

For Space Skirmish, you can purchase heroes (and certain other units) via the Merchant Dock. Some maps, like the two Sandbox maps and Dragonsong have the dock at or near the players starting station, though most have it located elsewhere. You'll also need to have Heroes enabled in the skirmish options but its on by default.

I believe the base game is the same.

Ground they're accessible in your research building from Era 2(?) and above.

I have yet to do a conquest game, but I hop in and do Skirmishes every now and then. Been enjoying it so far, but was wondering. How do you get Heroes in Skirmish? Because the AI always seems to bring in heroes, but I haven't found any options to do that myself. (Also, might just be a general question for EaW overall. lol)

There are no plans to add fanon ships besides those created in house, which is done to give visual designs to ships mentioned in universe.

I'm experiencing a wierd glitch, I've recently reinstalled the game and the mod, and now, when i start a campaign as the galactic rebublic all clone starting heroes are immidietly in their phase ii armour, and all starting clone units are also phase ii, any idea why that is, or can i fix it somehow?

@CaptHyatt I don't really have the same experience, care to elaborate? By mid-game it is basically only you, the AI (Hutts, CIS in my case) and a few neutral planets. AI clearly prioritizes attacking the human player and will send regularly huge fleets 1k-2.5k popcap straight to your chokepoint worlds in its failed but highly entertaining attempts to take them. The only bad thing I have seen is CIS basically having empty worlds i.e. they don't fill their planet slots with buildings useful in defense. Making them easy to take once you overcome their space defenses. This is on expert with cruel AI enabled of course.

i am going to bet, if credits is the issue, hes building massive fleets, with out the support needed to keep credits going

you need to build up your worlds, and not have super sized fleets or your income wont ever be any thing

The best function of this mod is when the AI gets so pissy they go on a run of "oh you wanna see conquering lemme show you" and they waste all their resources on capturing planets that don't matter and then you wipe the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ floor with them like they're the red headed step child you wish your wife didn't have

@Assassin All major mods (TR, FOTR, AOTCW, AOTR,..) use LUA scripting which is not compatible with MP. So short answer is no. Google for more details and isues regarding MP if you need to know. Most recent major mod version supporting MP I believe is old version of Thrawn's Revenge, version 2.12 or something like that, again try google or ask in the TR forum. But I suspect even that version is pretty buggy, EAW even in the base game is not exactly known for stable MP.

Reverend Falsetto you need to typa all your submods and mod id in launch options (first id for main mod then submods ids) and hit the play buttom

no, I know one of the space stations (i want to say republic tier 3) has an additional line in the xml saying something along the lines of <garrison_type>Frigate. idk if that was just a file artifact or if it even has an effect

space garrisons are only spawning a handful of randomized frigates instead of their garrisons listed in the xml in my game.

What randomized space garrison? All space structures should have fixed garrisons (bar era upgrades and civilian fighters in eco stations)

Well hello there! How do you enable the submods like Gigantic GC Mappack Submod and Clone Wars Unchained? Or are they supposed to load automatically if subscribed in steam and when you load this mod from the options?

keep up the good work. great mod. could use a tweak balance issue on skirmish. sorry to say i dont do the story mode its too long winded for me. Its nice to see everyone gets an opinion and players respecting each other. just wanted to put it out there. wish everyone well.:steamthumbsup:

No, shipyards are fixed per planet. Primary defensive stations can be upgraded, you can see what your current and total limit is by clicking the credit icon near the galactic mini map.

@NKVD Make sure you launch the mod using the STEAMMOD starting option. In game options in steam, check that you run the game in 64-bits mode. Also try disabling steam overlay and as a last resort you could change the two exe files for the game to run in compatibility mode. Google this for mroe details :)

Either disable subtitles temporarily, move fleets to slot 2 and 3 or use a higher resolution.

That said, the information is neither excess nor useless.

Hard to play because of all the text on the screen. Can't see anything in Fleet 1. Screen is cluttered and no way to remove the excess useless information. Looks like a lot of effort went into this. That's a shame. 0/10. Unsubscribing.
