I'm playing as Empire on expert. I'm at week 138 and the Rebels are yet to do any space tech. They're sending hundreds of gunships backed by fleets of Nebulon Bs, dreadnaughts, basic capital ships and bulk cruisers. The numbers are staggering.
No. A new game I started to test your mod. It's not hard to defend against. But it's lame.
I'm not sure what you mean by hitting them hard. If you mean: "Have I destroyed an incredible amount of ships and gear?", the answer is: Yes. Resoundingly. "If you mean, have you taken planets and destroyed rebel stations and buildings" the answer is NO.
I have the Empire's starting planets plus Jedha, Fondor, Thyferia and minus Kessel. My tactics are defensive and based on being able to always trick the AI into invading certain planets... Complicated and eccentric style
Is them not teching up until week 20 a new change? 20 feels too long, maybe week 10 makes more sense, that gives the player some time to build economy buildings and then start teching up around the same tame as the AI would start.
I've looked at all their planets with stealth units and havent see any tech buildings at all.
Welcome to the club. Turns the game into a tiring grind.
