Spoiling time - bug or stacking mod?
Hey folks

Baits disappear very fast, under 1 minute, although their timer says they have hours. Could it be a stacking mod issue, even if the timer says hours? Thanks

Inventory baits or thrown baits? If you're talking about thrown baits, it's not a bug. Dropped items have a different decomposition time when placed in the world, which is separate from their spoil time.

Thrown baits, like the kibble baits. I almost had a heart attack when my rex egg baits disappeared before the quetz returned :P Thanks for the answer.
Can I easily change the spoiling time? It seems way too fast .

I believe the setting is something like 'global decomposition multiplier'. There's one for corpses and one for items.

Thank you, will look for that.

Dropped bait spoiled time has now been increased to 2 mins by default. If it's still a bit too short for you, you can extend it using GlobalItemDecompositionTimeMultiplier as Bumblesnuff mentioned.
