Hints
FOR THE FRENCH:

BLUE:
- Bring the trade carts with resources to Orleans as soon as possible.
- If you bring Joan of Arc to Orlean's center, she will increase the French morale (all current French units get +3 attack, +1 armor and +20 Health). But beware you can't upgrade the units after, and new created units will not be affected by the bonus, so use this power carefully.
- If Joan of Arc dies, you will lose the regular tribute from the Dauphin who will not believe anymore of her prophecies and chances to win here - so protect her well (in a castle for example).

- TEAL and GREEN : Spare your wood: it will be hard to find! A good idea can be to quick destroy an English fort to take the forests behind.

- TEAL : if the enemy forces are too strong, don't hesitate to go back behind the different gates on the bridge to gain time for reinforcement and more efficient strike back.

ALL:
- Frank knights are good to destroy siege weapons but beware of longbows, towers and pole arms when you engage English army.
- You can explode the two bridges south of Orleans, to cut English progression, by bringing 3 petards on it. The petards need to be in the center of the bridge.
-Take back Meung-Sur-Loire and Jargeau, to block English passage from south to north and reverse.

ENGLISH

- Don't lose your commanders at any cost: they bring you regular supplies! You can leave them in a castle, instead of sending them to battle.
- Prevent Joan of Arc and her supplies to reach Orleans
- Make sure that the French can't expand outside their city and develop their economy.
- Beware of Orlean's towers on the river, especially your navy.
- Killing Joan of Arc will weaken the French a lot.

- RED: to defend all of your forts at the same time can be hard: attack could be the best defense for you by focusing your forces on one spot and attracting enemies.
-YELLOW: don't lose the control of your bridges in the west and east (Meung-Sur-Loire and Jargeau) or English passages by land will be blocked.
- PURPLE : Build a castle in front of Orleans bridge could help you to break French resistance by protecting south lands from Orleans invasion and isolating blue.
Control Orleans bridge should be your main goal and priority: your army is assembled and placed for that at start and the French are surprised and not well defended in St Augustin.
-ALL: you can trade safely behind your forts: you are not sieged (at start at least), but beware of frankish knights raids!

BEWARE: Some inexpected reinforcements can arrive on certain conditions and events.

FRENCH POSITIONS:
-Blue army, the reinforcement of the Dauphin leaded by Joan of Arc, is in the south, in the city of Blois, on river Loire, with the supplies for Orleans.
-Green is the north of the city of Orleans leaded by the baron Jean Poton de Xaintrailles, in the center of the map, the goal of the plot for all.
-Teal is the Loire river and bridge fortifications (like the Ducal castle: the Chatelet) on the south of the town, leaded by Jean de Dunois, the actual chief of the defense of the town.
