Joan of Arc Siege of Orleans

描述
ABOUT
This is an multiplayer scenario designed to capture the historical events of the Siege of Orleans. It is from start based on the AoE II Campaign of Jean of Arc.

HISTORY
The Siege of Orléans (1428–1429): was the watershed of the Hundred Years' War between France and England. It was the French Royal army's first major military victory while Joan of Arc was with the army and the first to follow the crushing defeat at Agincourt in 1415. The siege took place at the pinnacle of English power during the later stages of the war. The city held strategic and symbolic significance to both sides of the conflict. The consensus among contemporaries was that the English regent, John of Lancaster, would have succeeded in realizing Henry V's dream of conquering all of France if Orléans fell.
Source: Wikipedia.

English have already conquered some towns with stone bridges on the Loire, but Orleans is the biggest town and remain the most important passage on the river Loire (which cut France in two: the north already occupied by England and the south, remaining loyal to the Dauphin, except Burgundy in the east), being right in the south of Paris.
Joan of Arc, a young little French peasant girl who had holy visions of Saint Michael, convinced the Dauphin Charles to give her supplies and reinforcements to rescue Orleans. She's now in the city of Blois, last French city in the north, in the south of river Loire with full army, armor, and supplies assembled, preparing to go to Orleans, while the English still siege the city for months, surrounding it with strong forts and lot of troops from England, like the famous long bows, so deadly for the French chivalry.

GAME SETTINGS
- Recomended settings are: 1) Unexplored map, 2) Locked Teams,
- Automatic setting: Full tech tree.
NB: Considering the shallow of the Loire river: no cannon galleon available (and no eagle scout, nor camel for obvious historical and geographical reasons).

CIVILIZATIONS
BLUE : Franks team 1 | RED : Britons team 2 | GREEN : Franks team 1 | YELLOW : Britons team 2 | TEAL : Franks team 1 | PURPLE : Britons team 2.

VICTORY
- Conquest.

RESCUE ORLEANS
- If the trade carts from Blois (blue's base) reach Orleans (the area between blue flags), it will supply Orleans with resources (click on each cart to know how much).
- If Joan of Arc reach Orleans she will strengthen all the French morale (meaning +3 attack, +1 armor and +20 hit points for all human present).

ECONOMY
- The English players gain resources every 10 minute, from their territories in England and occupied lands in north of France. But only as long as their lords are alive (see "Commanders"). They received 300 food, 300 wood and 150 gold for each lord and tribute.
- The Cathedral of Orleans will grant 300 gold every 15 minute, to either the English or French, depending on who owns it.
- Joan of Arc receives regular tributes from the Dauphin from the south territories (600 food, 600 wood and 300 gold), but only as long as she lives.

COMMANDERS
- BLUE : Joan of Arc, Duke d'Alençon, Lahire, Gilles de Rais, Constable Richemont.
- RED : John Fastolf, Thomas Montagu.
- GREEN : Jean Poton de Xaintrailles.
- YELLOW : John Talbot, William de la Pole.
- TEAL : Jean de Dunois.
- PURPLE : William Glasdale.

For all: remember well that this scenario is designed for original game. Don't set the lobby in expansion because elephants will be available in stable, which will ruin the scenario in historical and balance perspective.
Also, in original game's scenarios, the teams must be set.
