[MVE] More Vanilla Encounters

描述
This mod adds custom prefabs into your game utilizing the vanilla spawning system. Each prefab is unique and hand crafted by me, while attempting to adhere to the vanilla ascetic. All grids contain a reasonable amount of loot based loosely off of vanilla values. Some contain story content, some have puzzles for you to solve, and some are meant to just make your day harder.

These encounters can be considered early - mid game and are generally under 5k PCU, with some exceptions.
Most (if not all) encounters contain Remote Control blocks to aid compatibility with MES (Cargoships should actually go somewhere)

This mod adds 35 prefabs (Excluding environmental variants/encounters that are both planetary and in space):
22 planetary encounters (6 Hostile, 16 Neutral)
8 space encounters (2 cargo ship, 2 stations, 4 loot boxes(also planetary))
10 drones (6 planetary, 4 space)

The two cargo ship encounters also spawn under planetary encounter spawning definitions and will trade with you.. or be robbed, your choice.

This mod was intended for use with [Dawese] Roleplay Missions to add more variety and flavor into his mods mission profiles. However this can be used stand alone if you so choose. Drone behaviors and Pirate antennas have also been added.

More to come. I'd like like to add:
  • More variations of merchant cargo ships
  • More strongholds
  • More variations of existing prefabs
  • More puzzles and bits of data pads/story elements strewn about
  • More opportunities for phat loot

If you notice any issues please leave feedback so I can fix it when I have time. Each prefab will contain MVE in the entity list to better distinguish which grids come from the mod.

@everyone:
I've released more content I've been sitting on for this mod for too long and made some tweaks to older encounters (check the change log for more information). I hope you all continue to enjoy using MVE and what it has to offer as I will be adding more encounters when I make the time. Feel free to leave any feedback for suggestions or issues you may have.

A huge compliment to the author of this mod and thank you so much for your work. I really like this mod and I'm looking forward to seeing more content from it. We have this mod on our community server and I must say, it's a hit with many players because it provides both neutral and hostile Encounters. It's a great complement to MES, since it disables the vanilla encounters. Keep up the good work, and you have my like!

@themightygeek thanks the compliment, i dont have them uploaded to the workshop as many of them are purpose built for this mod and have diliberate weakpoints favoring form over function. I would be willing to publish them in a collection/world but bear in mind you'd probably have to tweak them somewhat to suite your use case

Updated, changes are in the log, component merchant frequencies have been reduced

@wyomingwolf & @Oddbase:

Thank you very much for your feedback! I will reduce the frequency of the component merchants in my next update, along with some other behavioral fixes and prefab adjustments (I did forget to change a certain setting in the component merchants EC). I will aim to release it sometime this weekend or later today.

Can confirm the component spawns are very high. Using APEX updated Terra
