Introduction:
I've released a handful of mods now and some of them have interactions like UI or bonus features where both are installed. For the best experience it's best to follow a specific load order or you might miss out!

WP's Library At The Top:
You need "WP's Library", all my v.4.1+ mods require it.

Load Order:
After loading the library, pick any of the following. You don't need all the mods listed on this table. Choose many or as few as you like.

Galaxy Portraits

Army Attachments Revived
Load before "Planet View" to ensure the bigger army icons display correctly.
Mysterious Worlds
A nice gesture to load before PFE and DWE. It doesn't matter, though.
Planetary Features Expanded
Dangerous Wildlife Expanded
Load before "Planet View" to ensure the bigger army icons and the new ecology icons display correctly.
Planet View
If using, load after "User Interface Overhaul Dynamic".
Planet View Addons
(Such as more building slots or darkui.)
Not made or tested by me. Check those mods pages for details.
Load Last
New Worlds
Requires "Planet View", load after it.

Note: Since v4.0 I've added dependencies to my mod .descriptor files! So load order should now work automatically without you having to do anything manually.


My Recommendations:
Things on this list are things I use and definitely work with all my mods.
  • UI Overhaul Dynamic. A fantastic, stylish UI. Load it before "Planet View".

  • Piets' Stargazer. My favourite galaxy map on the workshop and it's not even close. The screenshots don't do justice to how volumetric and 3d it is! (Careful of his "Uncharted Worlds" variant. It's also gorgeous but has some broken planet portraits as of 4.1.)


Other Mods:
Here are some other popular mods that I don't necessarily use:
  • Planetary Diversity, All These Worlds, Real Space: New Frontiers, et al. I've built general compatibility for these in all of my mods. Yes, they work!

    When using "New Worlds" you don't really need these diversity mods as they all do the same thing. That said, you can combine and get some interesting mixes of art. Fringe PD planet classes won't have custom surface art. The mod that loads second will be the mod whose worlds you can pick as a home-world on the empire creation screen.

  • Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features. I think both it and PFE fight over whose deposits to add. It works, but I need more feedback on how well.

  • Gigastructures. Not sure as of 4.x. Need to hear feedback on this.

  • Real space. Some unique star classes may not display by the Planet View but otherwise it's fine.

  • Immersive Galaxy (Or derivatives). This old mod was an asset pack of high resolution and diverse planet textures. It's already contained within "New Worlds" so don't run both together, just NW on it's own gives you both.
