Description
This is my first completely own and all custom created Mod, so my most valued baby ^^
It adds a new Tier IV Materium-Astral Tome to the game.
Very high effort put into balancing and generally aligning with vanilla tome as best as possible.

-Combine the repelling Powers of the Materium and Astral Plane to create Crystal Magic.-

This tome is centered around benefitting from sundered defense and protect against magic attackers.
Includes:
-1 Comabt echantment
-2 unit enchantments
-1 friendly army woldmap spell
-1 special city structure
-1 special province improvement which also function as teleporter
-1 battlefield summon by battle mages (to answer high demand for more crystals)
-custom voice over tome lore to fully stand equal besides vanilla tomes

Lore
Deep in his Realm the Arch-Smith of the Golddwarves, Sindir Coppefist worked tirelessly in his Tower. Surrounded by broken and sparkling crystals, the former Apprentice of the famous Geomancer Fangir Stoneborn tried to do the unthinkable - Combine the total opposite poles Astral and Materium.
In the way the nature channels Magic through crystalline Mana Nodes he knew there must be a way, even no one else tried it before and knowing all of his fellow Godir would laugh at him for his folish endeavor - maybe even his former Master. Long ago Fangir Stoneborne left the Dwarven Deep Kingdom to research the Astral Sea. He abandoned the Earth magic he mastered for the pure form of Magic, floating through the Astral Sea. Sindir Copperfist never understood this, as for him the Magic centering around the basement of existence - the Earth or wider spoken Materium - was the one most perfect and powerful of all.
But when one day his view fell on one of the Mana Nodes surrounding his Tower he suddenly got a vision... why keep his former Masters new favorite and his own seperate, when the nature itselft basically combines it? Just because old conventions devide them? New inventions have always seemed impossible, so he just needs to show them all that it´s not!

Compatibility
No base game files were modified. This mod simply adds new tome skills and is compatible with every mod.

And it was a bit odd, but it was also the devs admitting sundering weapons didn't scale to later stat res very well, which made it stick out compared to raw damage enchants as far as reliability went. They probably could have consider like 120% or something, a number that would basically b e guaranteed unless actively built again, but cest la vie.

I mean, hell, for a mount trait and Tome of Hordes you can get unpenalized 20% at tier 1 anymore! Again, it is -really- hard to say where raw damage enchants should begin and end at that late a stage. I just can imagine that if you go this route, you got sunder, possibly rock/lightning/amp/shades, possibly geomancy minor form... and then put 30% on top of that.

If nothing else, it won't feel wasted, I'll promise that, looool.

@Daverin2112 Ahh okay. Damn these devs do really strange things. You´re right, this tome was created with tome of enchantment in mind. Though I really dislike the change I still see no good way to adjust this, and also, to be honest it´s not too op. When kept in mind that it´s only guaranteed with 2 tomes, and as you said a tier 4 tome should feel powerful. Also tier 2 tome of dungeon depths alone gives 10% extra damage, so it´s still balanced I think, but will observe this case - may slightly lower the value or add something negativ to balance - if necessary

Tome of Enchantment's sundering blades is now guaranteed, no save allowed. In effect, with the extremely likely pairing of the two, crystal weapons will be guaranteed for 30% as well.

Like I said... not 100% if it is too much. I think Triumph avoided straight damage increase enchants like this at T4 for a reason, they probably did not want to find out themselves.

I have been wondering more... is crystalline weapons going to be "too" good now that Enchantment guarantees Sunder? I definitely am not convinced yet, a T4 tome should feel good, but 30% when you no longer can't not get it is still very good, and the tome itself is nothing but knockouts. Food for thought.

This tome really makes me wish there was other tomes that gave some access to Lithorine stuff without the Crystal Dwelling, or at least like a society trait that forces a dwelling even if not turned on in realm options. Then we'd be crystaling!

Looks like this time the update didn´t destroyed every tome mod.
I just tested every single thing of this tome and all worked fine.
So you can start a new playthrough without fear.
