I have only the mod configuration tool and deepwar ai installed.
i don't know if its caused by this mod or not i didnt see this happen in vanilla so im guessing this is the culprit. and for your knowledge no other mod was active.
thank you for your advice!
and how would you rank these different AI's based on their difficulty if i may ask?
is the Deep War AI mod the hardest one there is out here?
i'm trying to find the hardest AI for this game without the AI needing to cheat all the time just to win against me.
I tried out pretty much all AI mods and of course vanilla. This one gives gave me the best experience on the battle map. AI plays defence if they are unlikely to win, goes on the offensive if you let them. Biggest change is AI way less suicidal, I turned off the mod to try Radious rework as it has it's own AI and AI would CONSTANTLY suicide into my army with garrison for no good reason.
Played bias is also almost gone, where in vanilla or other mods AI just HATES the played, here it's more based on expansion. You can also see the AI actually recruit armies for few turns before they attack, so you can either prep which can scare them away or attack preemptively.
More so AI can comeback if you let them. Leave them one city, they will patiently build and recruit till they can strike back.
with the mod enabled or while playing vanilla?
i'm trying to figure out right now if this mod is worth a try in a few test camaigns or not.
