LWOTC Fuller Override

Mô tả
Adds an alternate hack reward for the specialists "full override" ability allowing for other any kind of robot (i.e. drones and sectopods) to be added to resistance havens.

Which Advent Robots give which kind of Robot (if any) to the Resistance can be configured via this mods ini file.

Also adds a small UI in order to display which kinds of MECs are in which outpost.

Note that the templates for Resistance mecs CAN NOT be ones that are also used as an enemy by the game/ are intended as enemies. (or bugs WILL occur)

Long war of the chosen is a hard requirement.
Shen's last gift is only required if you plan on using my resistance sectopod template.

Troubleshooting:
  • if the mod does not work you may need to edit LongWarOfTheChosen's XComGameCore.ini and replace the [ControlRobot_Permanent X2HackRewardTemplate], as well as [ControlSectopod_Permanent X2HackRewardTemplate] sections with the ones from this mods XComGameCore.ini
  • make sure your templates are spelled correctly and the ones provided after "ResistanceUnitTemplateName=" are NOT used as enemy units by the game / were not intended as enemy units.
Recommended Mods:
"Buildable Units (LWOTC compatible)" along with "Fuller Override + Buildable Units Add-On" provides setup for most robot units in mod jam.

Without LWOTC this mod would obviously not exist.

@Mr.Nuke If you have a template that is acceptable as an add to havens (it can not be used as an enemy nor have either the bIsAdvent or bIsAlien flags set to true) it should be a simple config file tweak. (Add the corresponding entries to XComLWOTC_Fuller_Override.ini if you use the buildable units add on you might need to add it to that mods file.)

If you do not have such a unit template, you might need to write a small bridge mod; as already mentioned you need a unit template that is not used as an enemy and has the bIsAdvent and bIsAlien flags set to false, to use in the config file tweak. You could just copy paste the original template, unit config and localisation files, and use a different template name and make sure the flags are set correctly. Outside of this the process is the same as above.

No this will absolutely not work without LWOTC, as this mod relies heavily on LWOTC's havens and the basic full override ability.

Feel free to make your own version.

For people who have the same issue to enemy mods not native to LWOTC or Mod Jam, copy the hack rewards from an enemy mod thats included in Mod Jam to an enemy mod not included. That fixes the full override ability not working on those.

So I was wondering why full override doesnt work on certain units such as synthoids or the robots for the even more robots mod. When I hack one of those there are no hack rewards. its just blank

@Wp I am not entirely sure, though I believe the loot is lost.
