Legendary Lore

Description

This mod generates flavour text when certain conditions are met (see below). It has NO impact on gameplay.



EXPLORE: Travel to significant locations for your legendary lord or hero to learn their stories. Journey to the Cliff of Beasts as Archaon to learn how he acquired the Eye of Sheerian. Bring Alberic to the Sacred Pools to complete his Grail Quest. Travel to the Chamber of Visions to see a dread vision of your lord's fate in the End Times.

CONQUER: Was it anticlimactic when your High Elf army captured Naggarond, capital of the Dark Elves, and nothing happened? Were you disappointed when your Grombrindal defeated Malekith, avenging arguably the greatest grudge of all time, and the game failed to acknowledge it in any way? Well no more! Loreful matchups and conquests of racial capitals will now trigger custom events depicting these momentous events.

BUILD: Construct settlements and landmarks to learn about the region. Discover the temple-cities of Lustria, the bustling metropolises of the Empire, the mines and factories of the Dark Lands and much more. Learn about the armies of the world by recruiting their units and regiments of renown.

GUIDED CAMPAIGNS (OPTIONAL): If you prefer more guided lore-focused campaigns that discard the sandbox objectives for thematic lore appropriate routes then please consider the Victory Conditions Overhaul mod.

Does this mod work in multiplayer campaigns? Yes.

Hello, not sure where to ask this, but is there a mod that gives information about the lore of magics? I can only see information on it during loading screen. But no information on the spell browser. Like in the Unit browser where there is a small lore in right side of the UI.

Thanks! Makes long campaigns much more fun, the lore adds a lot of flavor to the game. Should be part of the base game, CA should send the modders thanks or a check.

first of all thank you so much for the mod but i have a problem. i used to see your mod icon when i start a campaign under each lord portrait but now i see victory condition overhaul mod icon (installed too) instead of yours.it happened since 6.3. is the mod running properly or is there a clash between the mods? i like to see your mod icon again to see which lords you added the lore recently

I just wanted to drop by and say a massive thank you for this mod! It truly brings the game alive and helps me immerse into the setting, finally after all these years of not really caring for any of all these figures and places. Now I do, and the game is a thousand times more fun!

I am very sorry beforehead and want to reasure myself and ask if I were banned from your mods/threads or you just "closed" them? I mean Victory Conditions and others maybe.
I cannot write under any of your mods.
