This mod is discontinued, please use NekiNovakid instead!

The relevant parts of the full mod's description apply here too, including the NSFW warning.

You can restore their vanilla facial brands by installing Nekify Novakid Brands.

Understandable, I have the free time I just have absolutely zero idea how to actually do that since I'm not a modder by any means.
You could probably just port over the assets for novakids though, if that's even possible.

I can totally understand that, but making an entire race (that wouldn't be just a blank template), including new NPCs, villages, etc is a fairly massive undertaking.
I can only do so much in the free time I have.. :(

This is why I keep saying, that anyone can, and is welcome to, go ahead and do it :3

Well I mean the point of it would be to allow people to have glowy kitty novakids while also keeping the original race intact to have a different reskin. (for example, novaskin or novawings) Not trying to be rude at all, I hope this is helpful <3
Sincerely, someone who would also love to see this (and the others) as race mods.

This reskin cannot mess up your characters.

If you mean just making an empty template-based species with no additional content besides the sprites, then sure, pretty much anyone can..
What's the point though, you may as well just use this reskin :)
