描述
This add-on adds SOUND and BLOOD EFFECTS when killing zombies with headshots.
When a bullet hits a zombie's head, you want feedback that tells you it's a headshot just by hearing the sound?
This add-on makes a blunt sound when you kill a zombie with a head-shot, so you can tell the headshot apart just by sound.

- Players who shoot a headshot can hear dull sounds regardless of the distance from the zombie in the headshot.
- Teammate players can only hear head shots if they are near a zombie who has been hit by a headshot.
- It's a bonus that blood spills more exaggeratedly everywhere.

- This script only works on your local server.
- No action other than the add-on subscription is required to apply the script.

Unique hit sound is added when special kill the special infected.
- When you kill a jumping hunter or jockey while still in the air, can hear a unique hit sound.
- when you release yourself by killing the smoker that pulls you, can hear a unique hit sound.
- When you kill a charging charger, can hear a unique hit sound.

※ How to turn on/off the effect.
- If you want to turn on or off the effect, chat "!headshot".
- The effect can be turned on and off by the host only.

※ Bodyshots also have a weak feedback effect.
- If you want to turn on or off the effect, chat "!bodyshot".
- Bodyshot feedback appears only when the Headshot feedback is turned on.
- The effect can be turned on and off by the host only.

For some reason this mod makes the Witch's swing louder and she has additional sound effects when mauling a survivor. Why is this a thing in a headshot feedback mod?

This mod works fine with a majority of the weapons out there but certain shotgun mods, like this one for instance , will have their firing sound abruptly ended when the body/headshot feedback sound plays. Out of the 230 or so gun mods I've collected over the years only 3-5 of the shotguns have this conflict so I'm not particularly concerned with this issue. Just thought I'd let you know since I've given up trying to figure it out myself with my non-existent scripting ability.

download the manacat common lib and delete this mod, then resubscribe to it again NathanS

Hello ive been using this headshot feedback a long timer but i recently dowloaded Cry of fear ambience but Your Feedback sound wasnt there so i got rid of Cry of fear ambience but now The Headshot feedback is gone

If you are still active and also responding to comments please let me know what can be done to fix it

How would I go about changing the headshot sounds? Does the addon come with its own audio files, or does it use a script that pulls from the audio files already in the game?

well for anyone who found this is not working, you need to subscribe Manana's common library and then this headshot mods. The issue is that the mod ID of Manana's common library is larger than the headshot mods, so if you subscribe them at the same time, it is highly likely the headshot mods load before the Manana's common library, then the mod would not work. Suggest to turn on/off library and headshot mods before the author fix it. I am not sure whether l4d2 loads mods base on alphatic order or ID, but this happens to me today. Fixed by make sure the library loads first.
