@Irena.cikos That is very odd. Shall have a look at it when i have a working desktop again. As currently has failed on me.

Made it to Turo this time to find an express in bits and pieces and a carriage strewn all over the tracks on the approach

It isn't uselss, A lot of important information is in the manual for it.

Reverser Hold E and move it with W and S, It has to be beneath 30% regulator to happen. Brakes you have to release them with the Small Ejector and leave it slightly open to stop them coming back on.

Has no guts will not pull away and reverser doesnt work

In what way is the 56xx useless?
western 4. okt. 2013 kl. 3:39
56xx is useless

HJD95: You have not released the brakes, the mano have to show 25.0

Make sure released using the Small Injector? Fully open it, Fully close it, then notch it open a few times. As GWR locomotives are slightly different to normal steam locos.

Suggest also not to accerlate 100% away either.

Cylinder ♥♥♥♥♥ are opened but 56xx does not have enough power to start the train: brakes are released.
chris89  [ophavsmand] 3. feb. 2013 kl. 2:37
Hello JLD95. Make sure Cylinder ♥♥♥♥♥ are opened when ever you stop. Especially when been standing still. Let it go through a few revolutions of the wheels then close them again.

Takes some time to get used to, but becomes second nature.

Hi,
I'm newbie with 56xx and at Falmouth Approach3, 56xx fails to start: cylinder ♥♥♥♥♥ open, 100% regulator, 75% reverser, no brake.

Great to hear so and glad you liked it. Will be doing some more soon with the 56xx, Also hopefully some when Port Road comes out as well

Nice scenario (especially Pannier part at the beginning) and I just love 56xx : )

Very welcome Nexus

Np at all. You can though use both Keyboard and Controller together though what is very helpful
JLD95 1. okt. 2012 kl. 9:17
thanks chris89 for the test: if this is not possible, I hope RSC add additional commands for lovers of steam locomotives.
chris89  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2012 kl. 8:50
As far as i know it isn't possible to. Since the Reverser requires E to be held as to unlock it, Also the same for the brakes require the small injector to be engauaged as well (J) and the cyclinder ♥♥♥♥♥ opened when moving off with (C) I can try the 56xx with a controller to see if it is possible though.
JLD95 1. okt. 2012 kl. 8:40
Hello,
how to drive 56xx with xbox controller without keyboard ?
EnduringSaint 29. sep. 2012 kl. 15:42
Press the C button and open the regulator
chris89  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2012 kl. 5:36
I think it tells you on the F4 option, it should become high lighted. If not press F5 twice (When F3 or F4 isn't on) and it will tell you in the information that pops up
DaveHaych 27. sep. 2012 kl. 5:22
One last question.. How do you know whether steam ♥♥♥♥♥ are open or closed...either from HUD or cab view? I seem to remember TS2012 had a toggle button on HUD...but can't see one now?
chris89  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2012 kl. 5:03
Very welcome. Always happy to help. Also glad you enjoyed the Scenario as well also that it was helpful :P Rather simple but gets you used to how the locomotive works with a load and gradients.
DaveHaych 27. sep. 2012 kl. 4:51
WOW! What a scenario. I did it...despite free-wheeling into Truro with a blown head gasket! Super. Thanks for your help. Learn't far more from this than the standard tutorial scenario At last it begins to make some sense :D
chris89  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. 2012 kl. 11:31
For GWR engines you have to put the brakes to Running then Press J to release them with the small injector. Also with the 56xx make sure the Cyclinder ♥♥♥♥♥ (C) are open or the cyclinders will explode
DaveHaych 26. sep. 2012 kl. 11:18
OK Thanks ..the "under 35%" was really useful. BUT...I still can't get it to work. Can couple up mixed goods consist. Get 75% forward , regulator as required, brake off, signal to go...but it will not move forward other than about a foot. Same in reverse. Any ideas? Looks a lovely scenario..AI at start v good.
chris89  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. 2012 kl. 5:28
Hold E then move forward or backwards. Also when changing it make sure the Regulator is under 35%
DaveHaych 26. sep. 2012 kl. 5:11
Can't seem to get the reverserr to work consistently. Any advice?
