As far as I'm aware there's unfortunately no way to make them change color. Believe me, I tried to make a mod that'd make them drop as red, blue, or green. It's a shame.

hay i thout of aomthing i wanted to get one of this ruby mods but could not chose one so i thout of this why not make a mode that makes tham chang color evrey couple of minunts

Lol. I agree. It's much cooler collecting the Rupees now rather than just the classic pixels. Does it also use the Rupee SFX too or is it just the spirte change. (just downloaded it at the time of writing this but haven't started up the game yet). Still great tho.
