I'm pretty sure you just select the second tab with the colored in figurines with dyes in your inventory, not an entirely different crafting station. The garage kit.

@hungrygoose you use a different station to paint the figurines with their proper colors

can't seem to dye the figures - don't know if this is a bug (the only one i've found) or i'm just missing some obvious mechanism

Are you using the mod furnace or the vanilla furnace where you make ingots? Because you don't make them in the vanilla one :P

I can't seem to find the pvc material in the furnace for some reason

@Ayaka currently it hasn't been updated for a while because i haven't had the energy, but i am keeping an eye on things. with how steam workshop is set up, i don't have access to actually upload it to the mod page

that's not a "fix" that is a newer version of the same mod, you're not supposed to be trying to run both

you need to install a different mod with an expanded custom collections UI, there are several options

Oh yeah, it'll have been the dropbox, mb. I'm used to using github for some other mods, so I automatically went "didn't download it from Steam, was probably github"

i don't actually use github and i'm the one maintaining the mod here, so whoever is running that version isn't actually involved with me. could you provide the link to that one so i can have a look at it?

the most recent version is in a dropbox link a few posts back since projectmayhem who owns this workshop listing has been MIA, preventing me from uploading the current version.

as for pedestals for specific figures, there aren't that many, the three colored acrylic stands were matched for the previously unimplemented steven universe figures which i added in alongside them. the coin pile was supposed to go with the gabe newell figure though

I would just like to say, I absolutely *love* this mod to bits. I'm someone who loves resource gathering, so having so much stuff to work towards as a big project is incredibly useful for me. Plus all the references are excellent.
I would like to ask, though, are any pedestals specifically designed for specific figures, like the Mario pipe? I'm just curious, as currently I've been using the basic square one, although the wide pedestal is also kind of bugging me. The wider figures seem to be 3 spaces wide, but the wide pedestal is 4, so they're off-center and often poke over the side since it slopes (the reason I switched to the square pedestal)
I'm using the github version, but to be honest this comment was mainly because I just really enjoy this mod lmao

As an aside, actually, yeah, I remember when I still talked to Myrmex before he dropped the mod, he was making Neptunia series figurines, but we didn't get all of them done. We have Purple Heart and White Heart, as well as a few others, but not all the girls, so to speak. I'd like it if we could finally finish that set...

yeah, you definitely don't want them running at once, unsubscribe from this and use the newer version, it will cause all sorts of issues with duplicated objects, assuming the game even allows you to start it(it likely won't)

I just meant like, should I uninstall this one so that they don't conflict? I would assume so but I wanted to be certain.

inside the starbound install directory there is a folder called "mods" you just throw any .pak files you get from outside of starbound into it, that's how you install non-workshop mods. they also don't have to be .pak files, just a folder with the right structure will do

you can access the starbound folder easily from your game library, right click > manage > browse local files

that'll take you to the correct folder, and you can browse https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/categories/starbound.21/ for more mods you might want to install in that manner

you get a lot of the special resources from the figomatic vending machine including the toymaker table, do note that the mod currently on the workshop is actually outdated as projectmayhem hasn't uploaded the new version and i lack permission to do so. scroll down the comments a bit where i posted a link to the current version with extensive bug fixes. eventually i'm going to need to set up a new page for the mod

How are you meant to get some of the old materials, such as giant holiday bells or the like? I remember some of this stuff was craftable with the toymaker's table but it's kinda dummied out content.

@Cheesey Wonder. I deleted your comment because all you're doing is advertising your own mod without looking into how collections here are implemented. It makes NO changes to collections and does not require a custom collections UI, it's simply able to provide collections if you have a UI for it
