How does a mod like this work, at a technical level? I'm trying to add a couple recipes to player crafting (like the sleeping bag and the filing cabinet) but I don't have any relevant coding knowledge to make sense of the coding language starbound is made in.

I really miss this feature from the beta days, I wonder if this still works in 1.4? And is it compatible with Frackin' Universe?

I really like this mod. it really makes you feel like a member of an interstellar civilisation, able to just replicate simple, disposable electric lights instead of having to manually light torches n' ♥♥♥♥.

or being able to pull a prefab, biodegradable house out of your pocket and pop it down to weather the night

I never understood this change. Or a number of similar changes, for that matter. I mean... why? Why would they go out of their way to make simple things less accessible? Why would they pointlessly cut out basic content and trim away variety? That's the polar opposite of what you're supposed to do as you update your game!

@SeekoDestroyer: Very well. It is not available in vanilla, however, so it's going to be another mod. Do you have "Spooky Tweaks" installed, by any chance? That mod does reenable to Portable Pixel Printer, though I'll have to check how its implementation compares to mine.

I am not subscribed to this one, plus it has a different recipe than in the picture.

@SeekoDestroyer: Can't find anything about it on the FU GitHub repository, so if something adds it back it probably isn't FrackinUniverse. Just to be sure, are you currently subscribed to this mod? This mod adds a clone of the PPP to the Architect's Table, but it (by design) does not function in the same way as the original does.

I have it in my game at the Architect's Table, but maybe Frackin' adds that back?

@vinchenzojackal&shoon: The current recipe was taken from the original Research Station recipe for the Portable Pixel Printer, back before the Stick of Ram was added, so the recipe could definitely use some tweaking.

Do you think you can add a Silicon Board or a Stick of Ram to the crafting recipe?
Either one would be a good idea, as this should be a late game item that is expensive...
Seems cheap like this... but is still a good item. Rating Up and Favoriting.
Subscribing regardless of you editing the recipe.

@SeekoDestroyer: While the items and recipes were not technically removed from the game files, they were made unobtainable by normal means. Even if you were to use /spawnitem to acquire a Portable Pixel Printer, using it would do nothing and perhaps crash your game, as the unlock tier it uses has been commented out.

Pretty sure those weren't removed, but I may be wrong?
