To be honest working from home hasn't been that great (because of corona and other things too) (but thank you though) , i haven't really had a chance to look at the route - but so far i haven't been able to upload it (although i haven't really looked at it for a while and haven't really done much on the work).

It is a combination though it doesn't upload to steam, and of course the broken signals on the Frankfurt routes - when i don't understand the signalling (I know UK signalling but that's about it )

The facebook thing - I had to step away - other wise there would have been a rant that could have gotten me fired :). I haven't stopped just haven't mentioned things recently.

Since you told me in mid-September that you couldn't technically upload the Karlsruhe - Koblenz route, many people are hoping for a sign of life from you every day.

Unfortunately, no one has heard from you anymore, now I read on Steam that you are thinking about not uploading the route because many of you hated your work, I can assure you that there is hardly anyone in Germany who seriously hates your work.

You are unfortunately no longer available on Facebook, I really hope you will give us the chance to continue to admire your work.

It's because of how they were build each route has a set point of origin, which sets tile 0,0 in each route, so in the case of Frankfurt Koblenz (High Speed and Mannheim / Karlsruhe) these are set in (e.g. Mannheim) and the Cologne route is set in e.g. Cologne, so if you copy over cologne koblenz to the other routes it will place cologne in a completely different place.

(notes - not the exact places - but both are different)

It is possible to change it, however unfortunately it would be an almost unrealistic in the amount of work to do (so in my case i couldn't do it, with out some automated tool )

But why one cannot merge the routes with Cologne Koblenz? They were all built by DTG weren't they?

I can say (from my perspective) that I had alot of fun with your Merges, especially the ones for the Routes from/to Munich. Hope you'll do the merge. I'm looking forward to it ;) greetings from Germany!!

I can only merge Frankfurt High Speed to Frankfurt Koblenz unfortunately. (probably at the weekend if i do - but considering the Germans hate my merged routes, so i've heard (not all of them of course :) ), I've been having doubts.

Basically it's a lot of copy and paste with a lot of file editing, (32 bit it crashed a fair bit), quick drives for the most part have to be made again (the originals do work however in the same route - although the folder name has to be changed - can't have the same "guid" )

How would merging two routes work in terms of editing and the respective quick drive scenarios of each route seperately? Also, wouldn't it crash repeatedly due to too many RAMs?

It's because of each route starting point (the point of origin where tile 0,0 on a route) basically this means that Koblenz on the two routes when joined would be placed in two places on a map quite a distance apart.

The problem is due only to the position of latitude and logitude of the city of koblenz between the two maps or there are more serious problems that prevent the union?
I'm absolutely ignorant on the subject, I'm now approaching the editor but only for changes to some career scenarios on the Cologne-Koblenz route (damn Critical run to Koln! ) :-)

Indeed (for those who find these comment below via googlebinging, and are still curious):

"Mighty Seddin Freight" route is:

1. the complete Berlin-Leipzig main route (which includes Wittenberg)
2. + Berlin Airport
3. + Seddin Freight Yard extension.

The old "Berlin Wittenberg" was the previous 'version' of what is now Berlin-Leipzig and cannot be 'glued' since it would overlap and fail. Tracks, junctions, signalling was completely re-worked and would be incompatible and would make no sense.

I assume the interest was raised because the old "Berlin-Wittenberg" route has tons of user-made scenarios on the web. These, of course, will not work with Berlin-Leipzig DLC nor Mighty Seddin DLC.

Furher, an 'old' version of Seddin Yard (was available on the dev's website) is not compatible with the 'new' Seddin DLC, but works with Berlin-Wittenberg (which is a separate Route ID - hence, still works).

Completionist TS20xx users can have two 'complete', 'old/new' versions of Berlin to Wittenberg AND Seddin Freight Yard, while also having a third route (Berlin-Leipzig without Seddin).

I thought those routes were already merged? The Mighty Seddin route contains all of them ? with Berlin Leipzig being an extension of Berlin Wittenberg.

The store page for the Mighty Seddin says its a "40km Extension for the Berlin Leipzig Route Add-On (required as a separate purchase)."

That's quite a long route route to suggest, I can't make those sorts of routes in my own time, and i've already got several routes on the go as well. Well over 300 Km of a route - that would take me years on my own to make anything like that in my own time! :)

Unfortunately the Cologne routes can not be merged unfortuantely as they have different points of origin (basically this means cologne would be in different places if they were merged together :) )

I have no more problems with the card Augsburg, Rosenheim and Garmisch Pattenkirchen-Munich. However, I would be interested in a bundle of routes Duesseldorf-Cologne, Cologne-Koblenz main station and Koblenz-Trier. Would these 3 routes possible to convert into one and did with Munich to Augsburg, Garmisch and Rosenheim did. I would be very happy to receive your feedback.

I can't unfortunately, the two routes aren't mergeable, I'm really sorry, basically Immendingen would be in two different places on the route if they were merged.

Can you merge Wutachtalbahn Lauchingen to Immendingen with Konstanz Villingen? So you can Lauchingen to Konstanz via Immendingen. :-)

They have to have the same starting point for them to be merged, which many routes don't have. In this case it does just happen that the only ones merge able are by DTG, well there is one that isn't but I haven't really seen a point in doing so (WCML over Shap and Western Lines of Scotland - different eras)

I get asked if certain routes can be merged such as the cologne ones or the WCML routes (north and over shap, and even trent valley too), but the only way a route can be merged is if they have the same route point of origin unfortuantely.

do the maps have to be from the same developer from them to fuse ?
