Usually, you get some weird issues if you try to swap between models after every campaign. Did you close and reboot the game if the issue is still there?

Also having this issue with "server is enforcing consistency for this model", not sure what's up with it

When I try to play it says "Server is enforcing consistency for this model" and then shows the smoker model file. why?

I can't believe we just shot Yoshi with a Smith & Wesson 500

This one uses the same bones but like a proportion trick for animations so probably alters collision by proxy. I haven't tested this online recently; last time I played online with friends it just falls back to the vanilla hitboxes while the mesh still looks normal; this also applied to my Baby Mario and Baby Luigi SI mods.

I think most model/texture/sound replacer mods are allowed on official valve servers, I usually have a few enabled while playing online, and they work. You just can't use them in Versus mode, since the game will automatically disable them if you try to use them on Versus.

I was just asking about this since I'm not completely sure what techniques are used for this one because of the proportions, because I know certain mods can't be used online because of certain factors, like an altered skeleton or something similar.

@Ironence: I don't think you can use mods on official valve servers period, at least against randoms. If you set up your own room, however, you should be fine.

Yeah I had been aware of this for a while. I'm sorry for holding off on it, haven't played Left 4 Dead 2 in a while, and it's not like I stopped liking the game, just a lot of other things to think about.
