I think you should make Oppressive Autocracy cost less, and grant Sovereign Guardianship/Corporate Protectorate some liberty from their militaristic expectations.

This used to allow me to use Merchant Guilds and Technocracy at the same time (ending up with a mix of politicians, merchants, and science directors in the capital building), but now it just replaces the politicians (and the merchants overwrite the science directors). :-(

Why doesn't this change Exalted Priesthood? The civic's restriction to oligarchic and dictatorial governments is honestly baffling. There's numerous historical Earth civilisations that are both monarchical and had a politically powerful priest class.

I'd like to ask why Pleasure Seekers and Warrior Culture remain exclusive? Is it really unthinkable that an empire of hedonists might take pleasure in Combat and Gladiatoral displays? Not only would this combination help me roleplay as Dark Eldar, but it also is a neat representation of some facets of roman culture and society during the late republic and early principate.

Having the Cortasyps undead space life forms CIvic from Hives. With The undead pops civic from mega Corps. and the undead armies civic from normal Empires. All while using the Tree Of life origin. has been my Dream for many years. Would it be alright to lossen the restrictions more so we could do some things like this?

There is a Bug or some thing where i can't have Indentered Assets, and Corperate Hedonism together I thought the restrictions were lossed so i could take more veriaty of civics for RP perpuses. :(

I want to use Agrarian Ideal with Worker Cooperative. But one is for normal empires. and the other is for Mega Corps. any way we could use Cross EMpire type civics? I have some really nice themed ones i really want to try.

eager explorers being compatible with fear of the dark would be really great... Why wouldn't a civilization like that want to expand quicker to minimize further risk to themselves

You have an extra closing curly brace on lines 147 and 463 of 03_corporate_civics. It's causing the rest of civic_naval_contractors and civic_private_military_companies to get parsed as a series of nameless, malformed civics and show up in the civic selection list, like so: https://imgur.com/a/ZInB6bW .

The lines are:
147: NOT = { has_civic = civic_citizen_service } }
463: NOT = { has_civic = civic_warrior_culture } }

Deleting that second closing brace on those two lines will fix it :-)

I don't think this actually causes like a crash or anything, even if you pick one of the malformed civics (very surprised the client can handle that, lol). I think it'll probably make it so the affected civics don't actually do anything though.

this mod is breaking the descriptions and possibly the effects (haven't had time to test it) of some civics. Distinguished admiralty and Philosopher king, are the most obvious, as + x Leader level cap is no longer an effect found in the game.

Have you considered opening up the possibilities for Eager Explorers and it's siblings? Like a Fear of the Dark civilization that's still eager about exploration, or a Driven Assimilator gestalt that was originally focused on Exploration Protocols?

@ Pepsi Man "Any civic with any government type" is not planned, sorry. This relaxes restrictions, but is not meant to make everything viable with everything else. I will look into the Pristhood issue though.

@mzilli when are we getting any civic with any government type? Trying to do a authoritarian spiritualists run with a priesthood and inquisition but can only have one or the other due to government type restrictions. The mod would beat out all other mods like this if you could make that happen. In matter of fact, I think you would be the only mod to have removed government type restrictions from civics, that's of course you decide to do that.

@aNamelessBunny Yeah, sounds like Steam is downloading the 3.6 version of the mod for some reason. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing until it's fixed.

This mod removes the origins added by the First Contact dlc. I've launched Stellaris with just this mod active to test and none of the new origins were there. Not sure what could cause this, I have no experience with modding.
