Thanks for the feedback everyone! Sorry I didn't get to respond until now just been a little busy! Will get to game playing and designing soon! Yes CJOLL4, I wanted there to be mismatched textures and loud colors because its supposed to mimic a conglomerate of ocean gems like rare wood, gold, jewels, doubloons, leather etc hence the name "Smuggler's" dream. Thanks so much! Still deciding if I want to make some minor adjustments still though! :)

I love it, mismatched textures and all. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the whole point is for it to have a very loud color scheme. It's an interesting gun to say the least. :thumb:

lose the jewels an change the front end of the barrel to a different texture an ill buy it all day long :) nice work too!

Nice work! I just think you use too many different textures and colors on it. You have the fancy gold barrel, the wood, the leather grip, the mustard laser/trigger. It's just too much imo. Might be a better choice to leave out the leather grip and change the mustard color of the laser/trigger to something that matches both the wood and the gold, but isn't so bright or fancy that it takes away the focus from the gold/wood.

Something tells me a diver that uses this is going to struggle, with the bullet holes being blocked an all.

Also, the laser attachment feels unfitting with a heavily different colour standing out from the rest of the design this 'bright mustard' colour isn't fitting in my opinion

You can make the gems pop without having to do any modeling work, you just adjust the normal map to give them that texture ^^ Beast Bull is an example of a normal map adjustment to give texture

I may have gone a little too crazy with the jewels by putting them where the bullets come out! Thanks for the feedback, will definitely take some time to fine tune this piece further!


I have been thinking about exploring into 3d modeling software but haven't jumped into actually getting my hands into learning the software! Thanks for the feedback! I will most definitely look into modeling the jewels once I experiment in 3d!!!
