Cant seem to go all the way to Peter only along the branch line

does anyone know what this route is under in the directory? such as Railworks\Content\Routes

Does it work without the North London Line as that is the only bit I don't have. Great idea to do part of the line to Cambridge.

its very good but i cant get on the other part of the route for quick drive only lets me go onto the Royston Branch anyway to get on the other route that brakes off the the right 1st up then joins back onto the mainline

When the game menu loads up, don't use the workshop tab. Instead choose the standard scenarios tab and find the workshop scenarios there. This is a known issue so just avoid the workshop tab altogether.

Drive button greyed out for me too, althbough it's listed and all required add-ons in place and working correctly. Tried unsubscribing and subscribing again several times but still no joy.

It seems the workshop can be a bit quirky at times. Won't it let you use the route even if you ignore those claims?

Subscribing is downloading, it should have downloaded in the Steam client.

Then load Train Simulator, click Drive and then the Workshop tab and it should start saying something like decompressing files. Once done the route will be available to use.

This is entry level dummbarseness, but where do I fnd the actual downlaod link. I've subscribed but can't see where to downlaod the route.

I've just made it final so workshop scenarios will be allowed. It may take some time for the system to catch up though.

I've only just back into playing this sim, but must have downloaded this extension to my ECML London to Peterborough route. I've created a scenario using this route rather than the DTG version but when I try and publish it reports the route has not been made final.... Any ideas ?

Ok great! Look forward to hearing where you’re at. If you’re as far as Hertford or even Gordon Hill, that’s a large chunk of it down.

I would provided the scenery was at a suitable intermediate point such as Gordon Hill or Hertford, I wouldn't release it where the scenery ended in the middle of nowhere. I'll take a look over the coming days and see where I am at.

I don't really mind if it is finalised or not, as it is always nice to have the freedom to update the route as and when you wish to do so. Would it be possible to release an update with the scenery you've done, kind of like a teaser of what's to come if you do finish the Hertford loop.

I still haven't finalised the route because the intention was to add scenery to the Hertford Loop. I did get some of it done and would love to complete it, i'm just not sure when.

Hi. Will this route remain as it is now, or will there be updates in the future? I'm leaning towards the former since it is over 2 years since the last update, you've probably moved onto new turf with route / scenario building now.

OK then.

Similar to when they added track and signalling to the Sheerness branch I guess, it was released later as a DLC.

Shortly after releasing this route I actually did add scenery to this route as far as Gordon Hill from the Alexandra Palace end but didn't release an update. Given that still leaves another 20 miles or so to Stevenage, i'm unlikely to add to it any time soon.

OK then. I can't think why they put the track in without the scenery...

Unfortunately not, it remains without scenery as per the original version.

Hi. Does this include the Hertford Loop?

Love this route - thanks very much for the doing it - looks very much like hard work to gather the information and build the route - I have no clue how you do it - did the journey from Darlington to York in an HST Diesel and back to Darlington in the Class 92 Electric - 92 is slower a max of 110 where the HST was 125mph. Really enjoyed the trip.

looks great, nice job DPS. also, as a suggestion, would it be possible to add the canal tunnel extension to st pancras, add scenery to the hertford loop line and maybe a modernised finsbury park (opening of the new platform 1 for moorgate services, with the current P1 renumbered to P2) and alexandra palace (new platform 1 for services from hertford loop)?

Hi, the platforms would be from Liverpool to Manchester, one of the requirements listed above.

I am really enjoying this scenery. I have to download it from the quick drive, but, I have to select a locomotive first, then this scenery displays. I have missing or misplaced platforms at Royston and Ashley (?). It isn't as scenery heavy as others, working signals, no AI. But, for now, I have a good imagination. I do hope you find the time to add-on and expand this great scenery. Thanks, DPS.

i was trying to find a scenario so i can see if the route will come up.

There are none currently on the workshop, they cannot be added until it's final. I'm not aware of any scenarios but I haven't checked sites such as UKTrainsim.

If installed correctly, it should work with any train. It isn't available from the website, it's a workshop only route.

Then it might not be installed properly. There isn't a great deal I can do after uploading to the workshop, it's a leap of faith hoping it works correctly.

Hey DPS, Just wanted to know if you plan on extending this route further to Ely/Cambridge or when you plan on making this route final as to allow scenarios to be published on the workshop?

Because the route isn't final. :)

A route has to be made final in order for workshop scenarios to be submitted for it. However, if the route is made final, the author can no longer update it.

In the meantime, scenarios would have to be uploaded to a third party site such as UKTrainsim.

Hello DPS I created a Scenario for this route and when I try to publish it the system tells me that the route is not final - Do you have suggestions as to maybe why please
