It's actually not even just GS, base game civ with no extras is refusing to work with it, so must have been a basic update that broke it. Which is sad because it's one of my favorite mods honestly.

"Where's the Beef" ad campagin City Project - When you have 5+ Wendy's in your civilization you can do a special city project in any city with a Wendy's. Grants a large amount of Food, Gold, Amenities, etc.

Dave Thomas Statue Wonder - +20 gold per turn. I imagine it as a 250ft tall, cast in bronze, with a spatula in his hands raised to the stars.

Rather than fast food, might I suggest a more serious, more intimidating corporate feudalist oligarchy stype of civ strgiht out of the darkest cyberpunk literature?

@Border Hopper Like Daxterr says, maybe if it was McDonald's, but Wendy's has some actually healthy items, and they're trying to be good for the environment, too haha and foster kids. If I make a McD's, I'll think about that idea haha

Maybe to nerf the building you could make all units built in that city have like -25 hp. It's probably a bad idea, but that's how you could nerf it a bit. ;)

that's partially why I'm planning on moving the tech requirement to at least Currency. I'm ok with it happening in an earlier era, but I do want it to happen a little later. Also, I am revamping things a little bit as far as the amenities go, but until I get an issue with icons resolved with resources, so I can't publish any changes just yet.

What's the production cost of making a wendy's? It's not a bad idea but it seems way too overbearing. If you can just get +2 amenities in every city you can throw balance out the window. Also you should probably make it industrial or modern era for some sense of realism..

See, that's what I don't care much for about the Denny's building. you can build one right from the beginning. My goal was to have it be a little more realistic, and also not make it too easy early in the game - some people consider that to be a form of cheating.

Should just be called, "Wendy's". Everyone knows it's fast food. Also, Denny's doesn't have any such requirements. You can build one from like the beginning. Keep it that way.
