Thanks! I haven't gotten ck3, victoria 3, or imperator, but if anyone wants to gift one I could whip it up pretty quickly. The victorian battle mods are cool but are usually only custom battles so I've thought about that for sure (victoria has less control over wars so could be interesting)

The idea of this is brilliant, well done for making it. I would love to see this mod on other Paradox titles too!

If anyone has been able to update an old mod they made on another computer on a new one, and have it update instead of uploading a new mod, pls let me know. It sucks having to make new mod pages

hello !please need a ask^^! I have the mod "total war battle" net "extended timeline (v1.28)" problem: even when changing version (current beta) the mod "total war battle" does not appear (I can only resolve the fights that in eu4), I don't have the events displayed (from decisive victory to decisive defeat), however the mod is active! Any ideas ???

How do you get this to work? There is no option to go to a TW version when combat starts.

Supports current EU4 and added support for naval battles too! I can't figure out how to update this mod page with the new version, if any modder has experience updating old mods with the new mod tools so this workshop entry gets updated instead of a new mod version let me know

@emily _keim That's very interesting, do you have much modding experience? I havent modded in a while so they may have added a new on_action trigger

The on action triggers do exist though I forgot where they were

I think he has stoped working on it but its cool but theres no point yes you fight wars in the americas but what if your colonizing the west coast of africa and need slaves for money or having wars with the natives in australia or colonizing vietnam yes for africa you could use zulu mod but one west africa is just jungle 2 you are most likely colonizing early so you can gain more money from your american colonies with mods you can go to ww1 and d ww1 for tw but someone needs to make a full world map or a dlc for tw coz this dosent realy work

Dude! This is so awesome, I had a dream about doing this with Battlefront and Empire at war, this is so cool.

This means I'm going to download Empire TW . Wish the next Empire installment come close to this one. I guess it will follow Rome 2 TW DLC trends. With tons of unit Packs and Different maps Featuring Continents each with it own Campaign and challenges.

A mod like this would be great for Imperator, you only need Rome 2 and all the DLC, no mods at all.

Basically you play EU4 then you get into a battle, open one of the total war games and play a custom battle, then you come back to EU4 and enter what your victory was. Its more for roleplay than actually being connected. Interesting but but not my cup of tea

How is this supposed to work? The description above does not make it clear. Is it like Field of Glory Empire/Field of Glory II interface switching between them? If so, how do you make that work?

Thanks Lakedaemonios, I considered CK2 a while back but couldn't put forward to the time to learn CK2 modding. Haven't tried Imperator yet, but the Imperium Universalis mod and ET should be compatible if you need a classical fix. If anyone wants to gift me a copy of Imperator I could get right on it though :P

you should look at a game called knights of honour. its an old game with a sequel in the works right now. but its got the world map political view of EU4 and in battles you have the option to take control of units on the field.

No problem, just optimized the system so that when the battle ends in EU4 the modifier is removed instantly instead of of just being timed. An obvious thing I realized is missing is naval battles, so I am curious if there is any demand for that. I personally avoid them but let me know if anyone is desperate to reenact Trafalgar.

Mod is now updated and should work 100%. I will be looking for ways to improve the mod, but from this point I think I will need some out-of-the-box solutions. If anyone has mod experience and has a suggestion feel free to let me know.

Alright everybody, luckily I am not dead. I was busy helping teach a college course (we used eu4 lmao) but I am going to update now. Unfortunately I lost my backup of the mod files and steam won't download my own mod. If someone could post the mod files to google drive and send me the link you'd help get this mod going again.

@Valiatus - I'll never understand people, who click on a mod, they already know they wont like, and then express their confusion as to why other people would.

Anyway. I concur with Pclone501 and Hocus, Please update. Also: Maybe someone could make a total War Mod to go along with this? Like creating custom NTW Battles according to the EU4 stats?
