"outpostclue", "givescanmode"
in the patch file for infinity express, replace this line:
{ "op": "add", "path": "/interactData/items/-", "value": { "item": "scanmodeupgrade" } }
with this:
{ "op": "add", "path": "/interactData/items/-", "value": { "item": "scanmodeupgrade", "exclusiveQuests" : [ "outpostclue", "givescanmode" ] } }
This way, the game will only sell it if the player doesn't have the scan mode (if either or both quests are active or completed, the merchant will never sell the item).
I've scanned doors, tables, torches, about everything and no notice stating that I learned the crafting recipe for said objects.
But if I scan something, I don´t get anything.
@HardLimiter You did buy the upgrade at the outpost for the scanner?
I dont know..
Yes it should work on a preexisting character.
You have to buy the item in the store at the outpost for it to work.
Well, assuming that even works, that is...
just go to the outpost. you can buy them there at the shop where the dog is.
look in your sittings and see if it's off.
did you get the scanner's upgrade too?
also, you can find Learned Blueprints in the pixel printer.
